Proteintech - Privileged Long-term User Service (P-Plus)
P-Plus (Proteintech Group Privileged long-term user service) is a new service we have set up to show our appreciation to all the customers who have been with us over the past 8 years, supporting us and helping us grow as a company. To become a member all you need to do is go to the P-Plus Page on our website www.ptglab.com/P-Plus and register.

Members of the P-Plus Program can earn points in a variety of ways. When Purchasing Proteintech Group products, they will receive 1 P-Point for each dollar spent. For our U & European Customers the amount they spend will be converted to dollars and P-Points awarded accordingly.

P-Plus Members can also earn P-Points by Earn Points by:

1. Having a paper published citing the use of Proteintech antibodies
2. Providing validated data on Proteintech Group uncharacterized antibodies
3. Referring a new customer to Proteintech Group, with a valid purchase
4. Writing Proteintech Group antibody review.

When you earn 2500 P-Points at Proteintech Group in a calendar year, you attain Silver status in the P-Plus program. You will be able to

P-Gold:
When you earn 10000 P-Points at Proteintech Group in a calendar year, you attain Gold status in the P-Plus program. P-Gold membership entitles you to:

Rules for the P-Plus Program
Important: The following provisions form the basis of the P-Plus Program. These provisions are intended to protect you; the members of P-Plus, and Proteintech Group. Your participation in the Program will be governed by these provisions, and it is your responsibility to read and understand all of them. For more information, contact a member of the P-Plus team or visit the P-Plus page on our website www.ptglab.com. These Program Rules cannot be superseded or changed, except in writing from Proteintech Group.

General Conditions
P-Plus membership and its benefits are offered at the discretion of Proteintech Group and Proteintech Group has the right to terminate the Program or to change the Program Rules, regulations, and benefits, conditions of participation or P-Points rewarded, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, even though changes may affect the value of the P-Points already accumulated. Proteintech Group may, among other things, withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any reward or P-Points given; increase the number of P-Points required for a reward; modify or regulate the transferability of P-Points and rewards; or limit the number of rewards available.

Members, in accumulating P-Points, may not rely upon the continued availability of the P-Points, rewards or reward levels, and members may not be able to obtain all offered rewards.

Participation in the P-Plus Program (the "Program") is subject to any terms and conditions, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures ("Program Rules") that Proteintech Group may, at its discretion, adopt from time to time. Proteintech Group has the sole right to interpret and apply the Program Rules. Any failure to follow Program Rules, any abuse of Program privileges, any conduct detrimental to the interests of Proteintech Group, or any misrepresentation of any information furnished to Proteintech Group or its affiliates by any member, or anyone else acting on the member's behalf, may result in the termination of his or her membership, the cancellation of accrued points, certificates and / or rewards.

Proteintech Group reserves the right to audit any and all P-Plus accounts at any time for compliance with the Program Rules, without notice to the Program member. In the event that an audit reveals discrepancies or possible violations, the processing of award redemption requests may be delayed pending completion of the audit.

Each member shall be responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to the Program Rules and the amount of P-Points in his or her account. Proteintech Group shall attempt to advise active members of various matters of interest through such means as may be appropriate, such as account summaries, newsletters and its Website, but Proteintech Group shall have no liability for any failure to do so. Proteintech Group will not be responsible for correspondence lost or delayed in the mail. Each member shall be responsible for advising Proteintech Group of any change of contact details, and Proteintech Group shall have no liability for misdirected mail or any consequences thereof.

The accumulation of P-Points and the redemption of rewards are subject to specific Program Rules enacted by Proteintech Group. Each member is responsible for reading those materials in order to understand his or her rights and responsibilities under the Program. No P-Points earned or granted under the Program may be transferred or assigned except as expressly permitted by Proteintech Group in writing.

The P-Plus Program is maintained for the benefit and participation of individual members only. Only individuals are eligible for P-Plus membership, and each member may maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts will be subject to cancellation. Only the member named on the account will be entitled access to personal account information.

Accrued P-Points do not constitute property of the member. Neither accrued P-Points are transferable (i) upon death, (ii) as part of a domestic relations matter, or (iii) otherwise by operation of law.

P-Plus Membership Eligibility
The P-Plus program is not available to companies or the staff of companies who re-distribute Proteintech Group products for profit. 

Prohibition of sale or barter
The sale or barter of any P-Points or rewards other than by Proteintech Group is expressly prohibited. Any P-Points transferred, assigned or sold in violation of the Program Rules, in addition to exposing the member to the penalties otherwise associated with violations, may be confiscated or cancelled. The use of reward vouchers that have been acquired by purchase, barter, or other conduct in violation of Program Rules may result in the confiscation of the vouchers, at Proteintech Group’s discretion.

Account activity
Any member who has failed to earn P-Points for a 12 month period may, at Proteintech Group's discretion, be excluded from receiving newsletters, statements, correspondence or other materials, including notifications of Program changes or special promotions, until the 12 month period in which he or she earns P-Points. Any member who fails to earn P-Points during the first 12 months after enrollment in the Program may be removed from the Program.

If there is no current activity for 12 months consecutive, all P-Points will expire on the account. Activity includes;

1. Earning P-Points,
2. Exchanging P-Points for prizes; and / or
3. Exchanging Vouchers earned from P-Points.

"Account activity", for purposes of these Rules, shall be deemed to occur when a member accrues P-Points in his or her account in any manner set forth in these Rules, or as otherwise approved by Proteintech Group, or when the member redeems any P-Points or vouchers awarded by the use of P-Points in the member's account.

P-Point Accrual
Only members of P-Plus are eligible to accrue P-Points in the Program. Proteintech Group, in its sole discretion, may permit P-Plus members to credit P-Points earned from Purchases made with other companies to their P-Plus accounts. Currently, P-Points can be accrued by purchasing Proteintech Group’s products or contributing to Proteintech Group’s Scientific Knowledge. Proteintech Group expressly reserves the right to establish additional means of accruing P-Points, to delete any or all of the means currently recognized, or to exclude specific types of transactions or Vouchers from the accumulation of P-Points.

P-Points can be earned when placing an order by email, fax, and telephone or by using the online ordering system. The member must ensure their P-Plus ID Number is clearly stated on all Purchase Order forms and order correspondence. It is the Customers responsibility to ensure that P-Points are credited to their P-Plus account after they have place an order.

P-Points can be accrued only by transactions actually taken or performed by the member after the member's official enrollment date, and can be applied only to the member's account. P-Points will be credited only for Purchases or Contributions made by the member. P-Point credit will not be awarded for when a member fails to pay for their purchase or receives a refund, except that Proteintech Group may, at its discretion, give credit where P-Points were earned from a faulty product.

P-Points will not be credited for products given to customers free of charge including products issued as P-Plus rewards; or on products which are issued subject to any accumulation of P-Plus credit. In addition, some products or vouchers, including those sold over the Internet, may at Proteintech Group's discretion be excluded from eligibility for P-Point accrual.

Proteintech Group reserves the right to make bonus P-Points and promotional offers selectively available to certain members at any time, based on account activity, geographic locations, Program participation, or other factors determined at Proteintech Group’s sole discretion.

Proteintech Group will, in most cases, credit its members' accounts with accrued P-Points. However, each member shall have the responsibility to ensure that his or her account is properly credited. Where a member contends that P-Points have been earned but not credited, or in cases where Proteintech Group deems verification is required, Proteintech Group reserves the right to require proof of accrual from the member, including but not limited to copies of invoices and remittance advice and / or proof of purchase or similar documentation verifying any transactions claimed to have been performed. Any claims for P-Point credit by the member and proof of accrual must be received by Proteintech Group within twelve months after the date such P-Point credit was claimed to be earned.

P-Plus Elite Membership
P-Points will be carried over from one 12 month period to the next; the exception to this is members who have managed to accrue 2500 P-Points in one Calendar year. In this case they will have their points re-set at the beginning of each calendar year. They will be entitled to P-Plus Elite Membership. P-Silver and P-Gold terms are observed below.

P-Silver
If a member accrues 2500 P-Points in one calendar year they will become eligible for Elite Membership P-Silver for the following calendar year, from 1st January until the 31st December.
P-Silver membership entitles the customer to:

1. Earn an extra 25% P-Points when purchasing Proteintech Group products.
2. A free sample of up to 3 published antibodies.

Proteintech Group reserves the right to withdraw any member from P-Silver at any point.

P-Gold
If a member accrues 10000 P-Points in one calendar year they will become eligible for Elite Membership P-Gold for the following calendar year, from 1st January until the 31st December.
P-Gold membership entitles the customer to:

1. Earn an extra 100% P-Points when purchasing Proteintech Group products
2. A free trial of up to 10 published antibodies
3. Gain access to the P-View database, free of charge
4. Gain access to internal unpublished data, where available, free of charge

Proteintech Group reserves the right to change the 12 month period, for which the customer receives the Elite membership benefits, from Calendar year to Fiscal year or other dates that they deem acceptable depending on the specific requirements of the customer.

UK Membership
P-Plus Members situated in the UK will receive a P-Point conversion – the amount they purchase on Proteintech Group products will be converted into USD ($) and P-Points awarded according to the Conversion rate Proteintech Group applies at that time. Proteintech group reserves the right to change the conversion rate from GBP’s to US Dollar’s and ultimately P-Points at any time without giving the members prior notice. As a European Customer, gifts, awards, vouchers and prizes may vary from what is stated in this document. Proteintech Group reserves the right to change these rewards at any point without informing the members.

P-Plus Members situated in Mainland Europe will receive a P-Point conversion – the amount they purchase on Proteintech Group products will be converted into USD ($) and P-Points awarded according to the Conversion rate Proteintech Group applies at that time. Proteintech group reserves the right to change the conversion rate from Euro’s to US Dollar’s and ultimately P-Points at any time without giving the members prior notice. As a European Customer, gifts, awards, vouchers and prizes may vary from what is stated in this document. Proteintech Group reserves the right to change these rewards at any point without informing the members.

P-Point Expiration
P-Points accrued in a member's account shall be maintained in the account until it is redeemed for a reward or until it expires, whichever occurs first. Currently, P-Points expire after 18 months of no activity on your account.

Award redemption
The rewards available to be redeemed and the amount of P-Points necessary to redeem each reward will be set by Proteintech Group and published to the members. Proteintech Group shall establish the process for reward redemption, but redemption shall basically mean the exchange of P-Points in a member's account for a specified reward.

P-Points earned in two or more different accounts may not be combined to redeem any award.

The P-Plus Program structure is subject to modification, cancellation or limitation at Proteintech Group’s discretion, with or without notice. The amount of P-Points required to redeem any reward may be substantially increased, any reward may be withdrawn, and restrictions on any reward or its redemption may be imposed at any time.

International membership
Participation in the P-Plus Program may be prohibited or restricted in some countries. Nothing in these Rules should be read to override or circumvent any such foreign laws.
