Background Information
KIR2DL5B, also named as CD158F, CD158F2, KIR2DL5 and KIR2DLX, belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. KIR2DL5B is a receptor on natural killer (NK) cells for HLA-C alleles. It inhibits the activity of NK cells thus preventing cell lysis. This antibody is specific to KIR2DL5A and KIR2DL5B.
