GCOM1, also named as Myozap, Gup and Gcom, belongs to the GCOM1 family. It plays a role in cellular signaling via Rho-related GTP-binding proteins and subsequent activation of transcription factor SRF. GCOM1 has 11 isoforms with MW 44-54kd and 64kd.
