Background
The ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes (E2s) are a family of proteins involved in ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation system, by which abnormal or many short-lived proteins in eukaryotic cells is degraded selectively. This gene encodes a 21KD member of the family, playing an essential role in the substrate recognition. The immunogen of this antibody is from BC004437 (184a.a.). |
