Background Information
ZNF695 is a KRAB-containing zinc finger transcription factor localized in the nucleus. It binds DNA and mediates transcriptional repression, and its dysregulation participates in tumor progression across multiple malignancies. Elevated ZNF695 promotes cancer cell proliferation, accelerates cell cycle and suppresses apoptosis by activating NEK2 and PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathways. It acts as a prognostic biomarker correlated with tumor immune infiltration in colorectal, cervical, breast and endometrial cancers. Its expression varies among tumor subtypes, associating with aggressive tumor phenotypes (PMID: 38441026; PMID: 40682845).

Publications
What published studies show
The ZNF695 Polyclonal antibody (Cat# 25556-1-AP) has 2 citations. One appears in Oncology Reports (2025), studying ZNF695's role in colorectal cancer cell proliferation via NEK2 and PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathways (WB). The other is in Journal of Cancer (2021), investigating a five-gene signature associated with Gleason score as biomarkers for early prostate adenocarcinoma recurrence (IHC). Research fields span colorectal cancer signaling and prostate cancer diagnostics.

Reviews
What customers say
One review was submitted by Claire Makowski (rated 1/5) for lot 00023334. The reviewer reported that the antibody failed to detect ZNF695 by Western Blot at a 1:300 dilution across three different cell types: hBJ fibroblasts, MCF7, and HepG2. No positive results were observed in any of the tested samples.
The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
