  WB analysis using 83113-1-RR (same clone as 83113-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83113-1-RR (OGT antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83113-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of HeLa using 83113-1-RR (same clone as 83113-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HeLa cells using OGT antibody (83113-1-RR, Clone: 230385D11 ) at dilution of 1:250 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2), CL594-Phalloidin (red). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83113-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of HeLa using 83113-1-RR (same clone as 83113-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug OGT Recombinant antibody (83113-1-RR, Clone:230385D11)(red), or 0.4 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83113-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

O-linked N-acetylglucosamine transferase (OGT) catalyzes the attachment of N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) monosaccharides to the hydroxyl group of serine or threonine residues of numerous nuclear and cytoplasmic proteins and may play important roles in a large number of diverse intracellular processes ranging from translational control, transcription, transcriptional repression, INS resistance and regulation of the cell cycle. It exists as a heterotrimeric complex with two 110 kDa and one 70 kDa subunits. Recent studies have shown that O-GlcNAcylation plays essential roles in cancer formation and progression. O-GlcNAcylation as well as OGT expression was found to be significantly elevated in the cancer tissues.
