FlexAble Estimation Calculator
FlexAble Estimation Calculator: Allows you to calculate the amount of FlexAble needed to label one antibody
  • Please fill in the amount of antibody you wish to conjugate and the concentration of that antibody in the highlighted fields.
  • If you do not know the concentration of the antibody you wish to label, please use a value of 1 in the field.
  • If your volume of primary antibody needed is ≥10ul, the FlexBuffer can be omitted from the labeling reaction. The calculator will show a value of 0 ul for the FlexBuffer amount.
  • If you are labeling your primary antibody with FlexAble Biotin for use with Streptavidin Dyes, please check the box for FlexAble Biotin to include this volume in your calculations.
Amount of Primary to be conjugated, µg
Stock conc.of primary, µg/µL (use "1" if unknown)
FlexAble Biotin
Volume of primary needed, µL
Volume of FlexLinker to add, µL
Volume of FlexBuffer to add, µL
INCUBATE 5 min
Volume of Quencher to add, µL
If needed, add Streptavidin-dye 1g/L, µL

FlexAble Single Antibody Labeling Calculator
Single Antibody Labeling Calculator: Allows you to calculate the amount of primary antibody, FlexLinker, FlexQuencher, and assay buffer needed to label your antibody and prepare it for your experiment. These calculations take into consideration antibody concentration, recommended dilution, and amount of labeled antibody needed for the experiment.
  • Please fill in the amount of immunostaining solution needed for the experiment, the recommended primary antibody dilution, and the concentration of your primary antibody in the highlighted fields.
  • If you do not know the concentration of the antibody you wish to label, please use a value of 1 in the field.
  • If the amount of antibody needed for the labeling is less than 0.5 ug, this value will automatically be set to 0.5 ug to allow for easier labeling quantities.
  • Your assay buffer added in the last step is determined by the assay you are performing. Please choose an appropriate buffer for your application to dilute your labeled antibody before applying to your samples – examples include PBS with 4% BSA, or 1% normal goat serum in PBS.

FlexAble Multiplex Calculator
Mutliplex Experiment Calculator: Allows you to calculate the amount of multiple primary antibodies, FlexLinkers, FlexQuenchers, and assay buffer needed to label your antibody and prepare a mastermix for your experiment. These calculations take into consideration antibody concentrations, recommended dilutions, and amount of each labeled antibody needed for the experiment.
  • Please fill in the amount of immunostaining solution needed for the experiment, the recommended primary antibody dilutions, and the concentration of your primary antibodies in the highlighted fields.
  • The “mastermix volume” is the final volume of immunostaining solution needed. E.g., If you have 5 coverslips that each need 100 µL to cover the sample, you will need 500 µL of your Mastermix for the entire experiment.
  • If you do not know the concentration of the antibody you wish to label, please use a value of 1 in the field.
  • If the amount of antibody needed for the labeling is less than 0.5 ug, this value will automatically be set to 0.5 ug to allow for easier labeling quantities.
  • Your assay buffer added in the last step is determined by the assay you are performing. Please choose an appropriate buffer for your application to dilute your labeled antibody before applying to your samples – examples include PBS with 4% BSA, or 1% normal goat serum in PBS.
  • Your FlexAble labeled antibody can be combined with other FlexAble labeled antibodies or pre-conjugated primaries to be applied to the sample at the same time.
  • Unconjugated primaries that require secondary antibody detection should be used to stain your sample first before adding your FlexAble labeled or pre-conjugated primary antibodies.
