Proteintech is experiencing rapid growth in the US and is now recruiting for an individual to take on the role of Sales Support to assist with sales activities in the US and Canada. The successful candidate will be based in the Rosemont, IL USA HQ. This is an exciting opportunity for a Life Sciences professional with customer service and sales support experience. This position offers a competitive salary (negotiable dependent on experience).
PRODUCTS: Laboratory reagents: antibodies, ELISA kits, recombinant proteins, nanobody reagents
CUSTOMERS: Academic, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology Laboratories
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with free samples received by customers and work to convert to purchase.
- Initiate and execute on proactive customer retention and reactivation activities and strategies.
- Maintaining and updating product catalogs with partners.
- Searching for, connecting with, and learning purchasing platforms to optimize our product catalog offering to streamline ease of ordering for customers.
- Answering and following up with in-bound inquiries from customers.
- Quote generation and quote follow up.
- Following up with leads from sales/marketing events.
- Utilize and track opportunities in Company Salesforce CRM.
- Creatively work with internal customer service, sales, marketing, IT, product management and product development teams in order to best serve the customer.
Essential:
- Degree in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry or similar subject
- Living in the Chicago, IL metro area
- Must have experience in Microsoft office
- Independent, driven and able to work on own initiative
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Work from Rosemont, IL corporate office
