  IF Staining of HepG2 using CL488-15633

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HepG2 cells using CoraLite® Plus 488 ACOT2 antibody (CL488-15633) at dilution of 1:200, CL594-phalloidin (red).

  FC experiment of HeLa using CL488-15633

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human ACOT2 (CL488-15633) (red), or 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated Rabbit IgG control Rabbit PolyAb (CL488-30000, Clone: ) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

Hintergrundinformationen

Acyl-CoA thioesterase (Acot)2 localizes to the mitochondrial matrix and hydrolyses long-chain fatty acyl-CoA into free FA and CoASH. Acot2 is expressed in highly oxi­dative tissues and is poised to modulate mitochondrial FA oxidation (FAO) (PMID: 25114170). The structure of ACOT2 consists of two domains, N and C domains, and the active site of ACOT2 is located at the interface between the N and C domains (PMID: 19497300).
