  WB analysis of human plasma using 22262-1-AP

  human plasma were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 22262-1-AP (APOC3 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IHC staining of human liver using 22262-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human liver tissue slide using 22262-1-AP (APOC3 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Apolipoprotein CIII (apoCIII) is the most abundant C-apolipoprotein in human and is found on very low density lipoproteins, chylomicrons, and high density lipoproteins (HDL) (PMID: 18408013). ApoCIII inhibits lipoprotein lipase as well as binding of lipoproteins to cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans and receptors (PMID: 26228667). ApoC-III has 3 actions that can impair plasma lipoprotein metabolism and lead to hypertriglyceridemia (PMID: 24941081).
