  WB analysis using 83322-3-RR (same clone as 83322-3-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83322-3-RR (AQP6 antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83322-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83322-3-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83322-3-RR against Human AQP6 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.749 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

AQP6 (Aquaporin-6) has recently been identified as an intracellular vesicle water channel with anion permeability that is activated by low pH or HgCl2 (PMID: 12034750). It could be involved in physiological mechanisms of fluid movement, acid-base regulation, and/or anion transport. The calculated MW of AQP6 is 29 kDa, but the actual observed MW is around 35 kDa, which represents glycosylated AQP6 monomer forms (PMID: 19811639).
