  WB analysis using 84659-1-RR (same clone as 84659-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84659-1-RR (Axl antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84659-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Methanol) fixed HeLa cells using AXL antibody (84659-1-RR, Clone: 242014B9 ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84659-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Axl, also known as Ufo or Ark, is a receptor tyrosine kinase of the TAM (Tyro3, Axl and Mer) family. Axl is a single-pass type I membrane protein containing two fibronectin type-III domains, two Ig-like C2-type domains and one protein kinase domain. Axl mRNA is widely expressed with highest levels in the heart and skeletal muscle. Gas6 has been identified as a ligand for human Axl. Gas6/Axl signaling plays a role in cell survival, cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. It has been reported that 110-120 kDa non-glycosylated AXL protein can be detected(PMID: 31171001). Endogenous Axl is auto-phosphorylated and reacted with a tyrosine-phosphorylated protein of 140 kDa(PMID: 12730092).
