  IF Staining of U2OS using CL488-82910-2

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed U2OS cells using CoraLite® Plus 488 BAZ2A antibody (CL488-82910-2, Clone: 230205B8 ) at dilution of 1:200.

  FC experiment of A549 using CL488-82910-2

  1x10^6 A549 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated BAZ2A Recombinant antibody (CL488-82910-2, Clone:230205B8)(red), or 0.25 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Rabbit IgG Isotype Control Recombinant Antibody (CL488-98136, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011).

BAZ2A (bromodomain adjacent to zinc finger domain 2A), also known as TIP5. It is expected to be located in nucleus, and the protein is expressed at moderate levels in most tissues analyzed, including heart, brain, placenta, lung, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas. BAZ2A is an epigenetic regulator affecting transcription of ribosomal RNA, it is also a regulatory subunit of the ATP-dependent NoRC-1 and NoRC-5 ISWI chromatin remodeling complexes, which form ordered nucleosome arrays on chromatin and facilitate access to DNA during DNA-templated processes such as DNA replication, transcription, and repair (PubMed:28801535). The calculated molecular weight of BAZ2A is 210 kDa.
