  WB analysis using 29450-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 29450-1-AP (BRCA2 antibody) at dilution of 1:4000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IHC staining of human colon cancer using 29450-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human colon cancer tissue slide using 29450-1-AP (BRCA2 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Geprüfte Anwendungen

• Erfolgreiche Detektion in WB: HeLa-Zellen, HepG2-Zellen, MCF-7-Zellen
• Erfolgreiche Detektion in IHC: humanes Kolonkarzinomgewebe; Hinweis: Antigendemaskierung mit TE-Puffer pH 9,0 empfohlen. (*) Wahlweise kann die Antigendemaskierung auch mit Citratpuffer pH 6,0 erfolgen.

BRCA2, also named as FACD and FANCD1, is involved in double-strand break repair and/or homologous recombination. BRCA2 may participate in S phase checkpoint activation. Defects in BRCA2 are a cause of genetic susceptibility to breast cancer (BC) which also called susceptibility to familial breast-ovarian cancer type 2 (BROVCA2).
