  WB analysis using 55417-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 55417-1-AP (CASPR antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IHC staining of mouse cerebellum using 55417-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse cerebellum tissue slide using 55417-1-AP (CASPR antibody) at dilution of 1:400 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed mouse cerebellum tissue using CASPR antibody (55417-1-AP) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Hintergrundinformationen

CNTNAP1, also named as CASPR, NRXN4, p190, Neurexin IV and Neurexin-4, belongs to the neurexin family. It plays a role in the formation of functional distinct domains critical for saltatory conduction of nerve impulses in myelinated nerve fibers. CNTNAP1 seems to demarcate the paranodal region of the axo-glial junction. In association with contactin, CNTNAP1 may have a role in the signaling between axons and myelinating glial cells. This antibody is specific to CNTNAP1.
