  FC experiment of Transfected HEK-293T using 98464-1-RR (same clone as 98464-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 HEK-293T cells (left) CCL11/Eotaxin-transfected HEK-293T cells (right) were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse CCL11/Eotaxin Rabbit RecAb (98464-1-RR, Clone: 243012F8) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98464-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

CCL11 also named Eotaxin-1, was initially discovered as an eosinophil-specific chemoattractant. CCL11 plays a central role in both allergic and non-allergic inflammatory reactions by recruiting immune cells such as eosinophils,basophils and Th2 lymphocytes. CCL11 binds to the chemokine receptors CCR2, CCR3 and CCR5, with highest affinity to CCR3. High levels of CCL11 have been described in several chronic inflammatory diseases, such as allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, asthma, gastrointestinal disease and rheumatoid arthritis.
