  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 28644-1-AP (C1orf96 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 28644-1-AP (CCSAP antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

CCSAP (Centriole, cilia and spindle-associated protein) colocalizes with polyglutamylated tubulin to centrioles, spindle microtubules, and cilia in human tissue culture cells (PMID: 22493317). Plays a role in microtubule (MT) stabilization and this stabilization involves the maintenance of NUMA1 at the spindle poles. It can be detected as around 30-36 kDa.
