  FC experiment of Transfected HEK-293T using 65598-1-MR (same clone as 65598-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 HEK-293T cells or CD178 transfected HEK-293T cells were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human CD178 (Fas ligand) (NOK-1) Mouse IgG2a RecAb (65598-1-MR, Clone: NOK-1) and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG. Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 65598-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

CD178, also known as Fas ligand, is a type II transmembrane protein that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family. It is expressed on NK cells, cytotoxic T lymphocytes and activated CD4+ Th1 cells. CD178 transduces apoptotic signal into cells by binding to FAS/CD95. It is involved as a death factor in the regulation of activation-induced cell death, establishment of immune privilege and tumor cell survival.
