  WB analysis using 17842-1-AP

  Human peripheral blood platelets were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 17842-1-AP (CD226 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  WB analysis of Jurkat using 17842-1-AP

  Jurkat cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 17842-1-AP (CD226 antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IHC staining of human tonsillitis using 17842-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human tonsillitis tissue slide using 17842-1-AP (CD226 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Hintergrundinformationen

CD226 (DNAM-1) is a ~65 kDa glycoprotein expressed on the surface of NK cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of T cells. It is a member of the Ig-superfamily containing 2 Ig-like domains of the V-set. CD226 mediates cellular adhesion of platelets and megakaryocytic cells to vascular endothelial cells. The protein also plays a role in megakaryocytic cell maturation. Interactions of CD226 and its ligands, CD155 and CD112, induce NK and T cell-mediated cytotoxicity and cytokine secretion (PMID: 15039383).
