  1x10^6 rabbit splenocytes were surface stained with FITC Anti-Rabbit CD4, and 0.25 ug CoraLite® Plus 405 Anti-Rabbit CD3 Mouse RecAb (CL405-98349, Clone: 242568D11) or CoraLite® Plus 405 Mouse IgG2a Isotype Control (C1.18.4) (CL405-65208, Clone: C1.18.4). Cells were not fixed.

Hintergrundinformationen

CD3 epsilon(CD3ε) and CD3 gamma (CD3γ) are transmembrane subunits of the CD3 complex, which is essential for the assembly and surface expression of the T cell receptor (TCR). All of the CD3 subunits carry the so-called immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) in the intracytoplasmic region. The signals are initiated by the specific phosphorylation of two tyrosine residues located in the conserved ITAM (PMID: 21269565).
