  FC experiment of rabbit splenocytes using 98349-1-MR

  1x10^6 rabbit splenocytes were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Rabbit CD3 Mouse RecAb (98349-1-MR, Clone:242568D11) or Mouse IgG2a Isotype Control (C1.18.4) (65208-1-Ig, Clone: C1.18.4), and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG. Cells were co-stained with FITC Anti-Rabbit CD4. Cells were not fixed.

CD3 epsilon(CD3ε) and CD3 gamma (CD3γ) are transmembrane subunits of the CD3 complex, which is essential for the assembly and surface expression of the T cell receptor (TCR). All of the CD3 subunits carry the so-called immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) in the intracytoplasmic region. The signals are initiated by the specific phosphorylation of two tyrosine residues located in the conserved ITAM (PMID: 21269565).
