  WB analysis using 83513-7-RR

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83513-7-RR (CD4 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed THP-1 cells using CD4 antibody (83513-7-RR, Clone: 240427E12 ) at dilution of 1:250 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2).

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83513-7-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83513-7-RR against Human CD4 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.426 nM.

CD4 is a 55-kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on T helper cells, the majority of thymocytes, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells (PMID: 9304802; 12213222). CD4 is an accessory protein for MHC class-II antigen/T-cell receptor interaction. It plays an important role in T helper cell development and activation (PMID: 9539765; 3112582). CD4 serves as a receptor for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) (PMID: 9304802).
