  FC experiment of mouse splenocytes using 98129-1-RR (same clone as 98129-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 mouse splenocytes were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse CD79a Rabbit Recombinant Antibody (98129-1-RR, Clone: 241231F7) or 0.25 ug Isotype Control, and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were co-stained with CoraLite® Plus 647 Anti-Mouse CD45R (B220) (RA3-6B2) (CL647-65139, Clone: RA3-6B2). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98129-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98129-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98129-1-RR against Mouse CD79a were performed. The affinity constant is below 1 pM.

Hintergrundinformationen

CD79a, also named as B-cell antigen receptor complex-associated protein alpha chain or MB-1 membrane glycoprotein, is a 226 amino acid protein, which contains one ITAM domain and one Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain. CD79A is expressed in B cell and localizes in the cell membrane. CD79A is required in cooperation with CD79B for initiation of the signal transduction cascade activated by binding of antigen to the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) which leads to internalization of the complex, trafficking to late endosomes and antigen presentation. CD79A is also required for BCR surface expression and for efficient differentiation of pro- and pre-B-cells.
