  FC experiment of rat thymocytes using 98162-1-RR (same clone as 98162-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 rat thymocytes were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Rat CD90 Rabbit Recombinant Antibody (98162-1-RR, Clone:241388F3) (red) or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue), and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98162-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98162-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98182-1-RR against Rat CD90 were performed. The affinity constant is 62.5 pM.

Hintergrundinformationen

CD90 (Thy-1) is a 25 kDa, GPI-linked membrane glycoprotein that belongs to immunoglobulin superfamily (PMID: 6177036; 6153212). Originally described as a brain thymus cross-reactive antigen, it is found in large quantities on mouse and rat thymocytes and central nervous system cells (PMID: 83175). CD90 has been postulated to be involved in cellular recognition, adherence, and T cell activation (PMID: 7683034).
