  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 12973-1-AP (CDKL5 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

Cyclin dependent kinase like 5 (CDKL5) may regulate ciliogenesis and neuronal morphogenesis. It has been reported that CDKL5 is associated with epileptic seizures, severe intellectual disability, and autistic features. The CDKL5 protein is a kinase that regulates key phosphorylation events vital to the development of the complex neuronal network of the brain.12973-1-AP antibody detects both two isoforms of CDKL5, separately named as CDKL5a and CDKL5b, around 130-140 and 100-114 kDa in SDS-PAGE.(PMID: 20861382, 28674172, 27315173, 28688852)
