  WB analysis using 15877-1-AP

  fetal human brain tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 15877-1-AP (Centrin 2 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IHC staining of mouse brain using 15877-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 15877-1-AP (Centrin 2 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Hintergrundinformationen

Centrin 2 is also named as CALT, or CEN2. It plays a fundamental role in microtubule-organizing center structure and function. Oxidizing radiation induces polymerization of centrin 2 into dimers, tetramers, hexamers,and even higher molecular mass species, as a function of the radiation dose(PMID:17603931).It exsits as a 21-kD polypeptide specifically localized to the centrosome of interphase and mitotic cells in both HeLa and BHK cells (PMID:8248209).
