  WB analysis using 21436-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 21436-1-AP (CLSTN2 antibody) at dilution of 1:1500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IHC staining of mouse brain using 21436-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 21436-1-AP (CLSTN2 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens. Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

  IF Staining of K-562 using 21436-1-AP

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed K-562 cells using CLSTN2 antibody (21436-1-AP) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2).

Hintergrundinformationen

CLSTN2 gene encodes the synaptic protein calsyntenin 2, one of the three calsyntenin family members found in humans. CLSTN2 is expressed exclusively in the brain, with high levels occurring in cortical gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) interneurons and in medial temporal lobe regions (PMID: 19058786). Western blot analysis detected CLSTN2 at an apparent molecular mass of 107 kDa.
