  human brain tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 14084-1-AP (CNKSR3 antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

Hintergrundinformationen

Connector enhancer of kinase suppressor of ras 3 (CNKSR3) gene encodes CNK homolog protein 3 (CNK3). CNK proteins, originally identified in Drosophila, were described to regulate the RAS/ERK pathway at the level of the RAS protein kinase. CNKSR3, homologue of scaffold proteins involved in MAPK pathway regulation, is a direct target of mineralocorticoid receptor (MR). CNK3 coordinates the assembly of a multiprotein epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) -regulatory complex, and hence plays a central role in sodium homeostasis.
