  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Methanol) fixed HeLa cells using CNN3 antibody (86550-3-RR, Clone: 251475E9 ) at dilution of 1:1000 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 86550-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 86550-3-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 86550-3-RR against Human CNN3 were performed. The affinity constant is 1.83 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

Calponin is a family of actin filament-associated proteins which regulate smooth muscle cell contraction. Three isoforms of calponin exist: calponin h1 (CNN1) , calponin h2 (CNN2) and calponin 3 (CNN3). Calponin 1 and calponin 2 are predominately expressed in smooth muscle cells and cardiac muscle cells, respectively. Calponin 3 is highly expressed in many tissues including articular cartilage and brain. CNN3 is the thin filament-associated protein that is implicated in the regulation and modulation of smooth muscle contraction.
