  WB analysis using 30721-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 30721-1-AP (COA4 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  LNCaP cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 30721-1-AP (COA4 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human ovary cancer tissue slide using 30721-1-AP (COA4 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

The coiled-coil-helix-coiled-coil-helix domain containing 8 (CHCHD8) is a putative COX assembly factor known as cytochrome c oxidase assembly factor 4 homolog (CoA4). COA4 is a newly identified CcO assembly factor which is a twin CX(9)C motif mitochondrial protein localized in the intermembrane space linked with the inner membrane of mitochondria. Its transport into intermembrane space depends on the MIA40 trans-site receptor machinery. (PMID: 37345060)
