  FC experiment of mouse splenocytes using 98420-3-RR (same clone as 98420-3-PBS)

  1x10^6 untreated or anti-CD3/CD28 treated mouse splenocytes were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse CRTAM/CD355 Rabbit RecAb (98420-3-RR, Clone: 250055A1) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were then stained with APC Anti-Mouse CD8a (53-6.7) (APC-65069, Clone: 53-6.7). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98420-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98420-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

Cytotoxic and regulatory T cell molecule (CRTAM, also known as CD355) is an immunoglobulin-superfamily transmembrane protein with V and C1-like Ig domains, which is involved in epithelial cell adhesion (PMID: 18329370; 20556794). CRTAM is critical to instruct the differentiation of CD4+ cytotoxic T cells (CTL) through the induction of eomesodermin and CTL-related genes (PMID: 26694968). It also regulates CD8+ T cell retention within the lymph node and eventually effector function (PMID: 19752223).
