  WB analysis using 22184-1-AP

  mouse heart tissue was subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 22184-1-AP (Connexin 45 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IHC staining of mouse brain using 22184-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 22184-1-AP (Connexin 45 antibody) at dilution of 1:400 (under 40x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Connexin 45 (Cx45), also known as Gap junction gamma protein (GJC1), belongs to the connexin family. Connexins are membrane-spanning proteins that assemble to form gap junction channels that facilitate the transfer of ions and small molecules between cells. A loss-of-function mutation in Cx45 contributing to Atrial fibrillation (AF) and other cardiac arrhythmias (PMID: 33429106).
