  WB analysis of Raji using 10183-1-AP

  Raji cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 10183-1-AP (DIDO1 antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  1X10^6 HepG2 cells were stained with 0.2ug DIDO1 antibody (10183-1-AP, red) and control antibody (blue). Fixed with 90% MeOH blocked with 3% BSA (30 min). Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) with dilution 1:1000.

Hintergrundinformationen

DIDO1, also termed DATF-1, C20orf158, DATF1, KIAA0333 and DIO-1, is a putative transcription factor, weakly pro-apoptotic when overexpressed. It is a tumor suppressor. In mice, DIDO1 is upregulated by apoptotic signals and encodes a cytoplasmic protein that translocates to the nucleus upon apoptotic signal activation. When overexpressed, the mouse protein induced apoptosis in cell lines growing in vitro. The human DIDO1 is similar to the mouse gene and therefore is thought to be involved in apoptosis.
