Hintergrundinformationen

DSN1, also named as C20orf172 and MIS13, is required to shape an interface between the Mis12 complex and Blinkin, the counterpart of Spc105. DSN1 is part of the MIS12 complex which is required for normal chromosome alignment and segregation and kinetochore formation during mitosis. DSN1 has four isoforms with MW 27-33 kDa and 38-40 kDa.
