  WB analysis of HEK-293 using 60239-1-Ig (same clone as 60239-1-PBS)

  HEK-293 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 60239-1-Ig (Desmocollin 2 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 60239-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed paraffin-embedded mouse heart tissue using Desmocollin 2 antibody (60239-1-Ig, Clone: 1H8G1 ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) (SA00013-1). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 60239-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

Desmocollin 2 (DSC2) is a member of the desmocollin subfamily of the cadherin superfamily. The desmocollins (DSC1-3), along with the desmogleins (DSG1-4), are found primarily in epithelia and cardiac muscle where they constitute the adhesive proteins of the intercellular desmosome junctions and are required for cell adhesion and desmosome formation. Mutations in DSC2 gene are associated with arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia-11.
