  WB analysis using 82377-1-RR (same clone as 82377-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 82377-1-RR (EGLN3 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82377-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  1x10^6 U2OS cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug EGLN3/PHD3 Recombinant antibody (82377-1-RR, Clone:1O19) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82377-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

EGLN3, also named as HPH-1, HIF-PH3, HPH-3 and PHD3, is a cellular oxygen sensor that catalyzes, under normoxic conditions, the post-translational formation of 4-hydroxyproline in hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) alpha proteins. It hydroxylates a specific proline found in each of the oxygen-dependent degradation (ODD) domains (N-terminal, NODD, and C-terminal, CODD) of HIF1A. It is a regulator of cardiomyocyte and neuronal apoptosis. EGLN3 can be a prognostic marker for gastric cancer.
