  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 10719-1-AP (EPB41L3 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• Erfolgreiche Detektion in WB: PC-3-Zellen, U2OS-Zellen
• Erfolgreiche Detektion in IHC: humanes Hirngewebe, Mausnierengewebe; Hinweis: Antigendemaskierung mit TE-Puffer pH 9,0 empfohlen. (*) Wahlweise kann die Antigendemaskierung auch mit Citratpuffer pH 6,0 erfolgen.

Hintergrundinformationen

EPB41L3, also known as 4.1B and DAL1, belongs to the protein 4.1 family. It is a tumor suppressor that inhibits cell proliferation and promotes apoptosis. EPB41L3 modulates the activity of protein arginine N-methyltransferases, including PRMT3 and PRMT5 (PMID: 15334060, 15737618). DAL1 loss is an early event in meningioma tumorigenesis (PMID: 10888600).
