  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84966-2-RR (Eg5 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IHC staining of human lung cancer using 84966-2-RR

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human lung cancer tissue slide using 84966-2-RR (Eg5 antibody) at dilution of 1:400 (under 40x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

  FC experiment of HeLa using 84966-2-RR

  1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Eg5 Recombinant antibody (84966-2-RR, Clone:242611D10) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control Recombinant Antibody (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 84966-2-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 84966-2-RR against Human Eg5 were performed. The affinity constant is 18.3 nM.

Eg5 is a plus-end-directed microtubule motor encoded by KIF11 gene. It is an essential mitotic kinesin that plays a pivotal role in the formation and maintenance of bipolar spindle during early prometaphase. Eg5 has been implicated in tumourigenesis, and its overexpression has been found in various cancer tissues.
