  FC experiment of bEnd.3 using 98290-1-RR (same clone as 98290-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 bEnd.3 cells were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse Endoglin/CD105 Rabbit RecAb (98290-1-RR, Clone: 242305E7) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98290-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98290-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98290-1-RR against Mouse Endoglin/CD105 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.523 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

Endoglin (ENG, CD105) is a homodimeric cell membrane glycoprotein of 180 kDa, composed of disulphide-linked subunits of 90-95 kDa. Endoglin is a proliferation-associated and hypoxia-inducible protein mainly expressed on vascular endothelial cells. It acts as an accessory receptor for transforming growth factor beta (TFG-β) and is involved in vascular development and remodelling. The important role of Endoglin in angiogenesis and in tumor progression makes it an ideal target for antiangiogenic therapy and a good marker for tumor prognosis.
