Hintergrundinformationen

FBXO41 also named as F box only protein 41 is a 875 amino-acid protein, which directly interact with SKP1 and CUL1. FBXO41 is identified as a Substrate-recognition component of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein)-type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, which as a regulator mediates some protein ubiquitination degradation. FBXO41 consists of F-box domain and has zinc ion binding activity. FBXO41 may have an association with Parkinson's disease.
