  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Methanol) fixed A431 cells using FNTB antibody (66783-1-Ig, Clone: 1F3B10 ) at dilution of 1:800 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 66783-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of A431 using 66783-1-Ig (same clone as 66783-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 A431 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.8 ug FNTB Monoclonal antibody (66783-1-Ig, Clone:1F3B10) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) (SA00013-1)(red), or 0.8 ug Mouse IgG1 isotype control Mouse McAb (66360-1-Ig, Clone: 1F8D3) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 66783-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

FNTB is the catalytic β subunit of farnesyltransferase which is an alpha/beta heterodimeric enzyme attaching a farnesyl group to a single cysteine in several cellular proteins like RAS and facilitating their translocation from the cytoplasm to the plasma membrane. Farnesyltransferase inhibitors have been developed as ant-tumor agents. FNTB is required for the homeostasis of skin keratinocytes.
