  WB analysis of human brain using 12147-1-AP

  human brain tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 12147-1-AP (GAK antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 12147-1-AP (GAK antibody) at dilution of 1:500 (under 40x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20℃ Ethanol) fixed HepG2 cells using 12147-1-AP (GAK antibody) at dilution of 1:50 and Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Hintergrundinformationen

GAK(cyclin-G-associated kinase) belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. GAK plays a more positive role as a modulator of signal transduction, by relaying the phosphorylation signal from an unidentified tyrosine kinase to unidentified GAK phosphorylation targets(PMID:9013862). It may be acting as an auxilin homolog that is involved in the uncoating of clathrin- coated vesicles by hsc70 in non-neuronal cells.
