  human brain tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 15831-1-AP (GARS antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

GARS(glycinamide ribonucleotide synthetase) perform an essential function in protein synthesis by catalyzing the esterification of an amino acid to its cognate tRNA.GARS, however, is a ubiquitously expressed α2 homodimer responsible for charging tRNA molecules with glycine, this enzyme is essential for protein synthesis in all cells and tissues(PMID:17035524 ).It can exist as a oligomer with 250KDa(PMID:22504945).
