    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 31493-1-AP (GDA antibody) at dilution of 1:8000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 31493-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

GDA ( guanine deaminase), also known as KIAA1258. The protein is enriched in the brain, intestine, kidney and liver. Cytoplasmic expression in the small intestine, hepatocytes, pancreatic islet cells and kidney tubules. This gene encodes an enzyme responsible for the hydrolytic deamination of guanine. Studies in rat ortholog suggest this gene plays a role in microtubule assembly. The molecular weight of GDA is 51 kDa, and it can recognize other isoforms.
