  WB analysis using CL594-66574

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with CL594-66574 (GRP78/BIP antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  FC experiment of HeLa using CL594-66574

  1X10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug CoraLite®594 Anti-Human GRP78/BIP (CL594-66574, Clone:1D6F7) (red), or 0.4 ug Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control (CL594-66360, Clone: T1F8D3F10) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

GRP78 (HSPA5), also referred to as 'immunoglobulin heavy chain-binding protein' (BiP), is a member of the heat-shock protein-70 (HSP70) family and is involved in the folding and assembly of proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER).It is a constitutively expressed resident protein of the ER in all eukaryotic cells. Recently it has been reported that GRP78 is associated with apoptosis or inhibition of cancer cell growth.
