  FC experiment of human peripheral blood leukocytes using 98362-2-RR (same clone as 98362-2-PBS)

  1x10^6 human peripheral blood leukocytes were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human HVEM/TNFRSF14 Rabbit RecAb (98362-2-RR, Clone: 250728C11) or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9), and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were incubated with FC Receptor Block prior to staining. Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98362-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98362-2-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98362-2-RR against Human HVEM/TNFRSF14 were performed. The affinity constant is 2.22 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

The mammalian tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) family consists of 10 cell-surface proteins that regulate development and homeostasis of the immune system. Member 14 of TNFR (TNFRSF14, also named as TR2, ATAR, HVEA, HVEM, LIGHTR) was also identified as a mediator of herpesvirus entry into mammalian cells. The cytoplasmic region of TNFRSF14 bound to several members of the TNFR-associated factor (TRAF) family, namely TRAF1, TRAF2, TRAF3, and TRAF5. Transient transfection into human 293 cells caused marked activation of nuclear factor- B (NF- B), a transcriptional regulator of multiple immunomodulatory and inflammatory genes.
