  FC experiment of BALB/c spleen cells using 98341-1-RR

  1x10^6 untreated or anti-CD3/CD28 treated BALB/c spleen cells were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse ICOS/CD278 Rabbit RecAb (98341-1-RR, Clone: 242639C3) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were then stained with CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Mouse CD3. Cells were not fixed.

  1x10^6 anti-CD3/CD28 treated BALB/c spleen cells were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse ICOS/CD278 Rabbit RecAb (98341-1-RR, Clone: 242639C3) (red) or Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue), and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). 1x10^6 untreated BALB/c spleen cells were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse ICOS/CD278 Rabbit RecAb (98341-1-RR, Clone: 242639C3) (black, dashed) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were not fixed.

Inducible T cell co-stimulator (ICOS) is related to the CD28 superfamily and is highly expressed on activated T cells as well as regulatory T cells and is crucial for the survival and function of T cells, Th2 cell differentiation, and lung inflammatory responses. Binding ICOS to ICOS-ligand (ICOS-L) activates a cascade of intracellular signaling molecules that prevent apoptosis and lead to the production of cytokines such as IL-4 and IL-13.
