  FC experiment of human peripheral blood leukocytes using 98271-1-RR (same clone as 98271-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 human peripheral blood leukocytes were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human IL-17RA/CD217 Rabbit Recombinant Antibody (98271-1-RR, Clone: 241891G7) or Rabbit IgG Isotype Control Recombinant Antibody (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9), and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were co-stained with CoraLite® Plus 647 Anti-Human CD16 (3G8). Cells were incubated with FC Receptor Block prior to staining. Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98271-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98271-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98271-1-RR against Human IL-17RA/CD217 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.115 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

IL-17 is a proinflammatory cytokine. IL-17 can signal as homodimers or heterodimers through a heterodimeric receptor formed by IL-17 receptor A (IL-17RA) and IL-17 receptor C (IL-17RC) subunits. IL-17RA is ubiquitously expressed in both the epithelial and hematopoietic cell compartments. IL-17/IL-17RA signaling plays an important physiological role in regulating the mucosal host defense against invading microorganisms, but it can also play pathogenic roles in several inflammatory or autoimmune conditions; furthermore, it has been described as pro-tumorigenic in several cancer types.
