  Sandwich ELISA standard curve of MP02013-3, Mouse IL-13RA2 Recombinant Matched Antibody Pair - PBS only. 98407-3-PBS was coated to a plate as the capture antibody and incubated with serial dilutions of standard Eg3118. 85631-5-PBS was HRP conjugated as the detection antibody. Range: 0.156-10 ng/mL.

  Sample test of MP02013-3

  The mean IL-13RA2 concentration was determined to be 1.81 ng/mL in mouse spleen tissue homogenates extract based on a 2.30 mg/mL extract load.

  Serum of eight mice was measured. The IL-13RA2 concentration of detected samples was determined to be 6.65 ng/mL with a range of 5.21-8.88 ng/mL.

  1x10^6 HEK-293T cells (left) and IL-13RA2-transfected HEK-293T cells (right) were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse IL-13RA2 Rabbit RecAb (98407-3-RR, Clone: 242742C4) and APC-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98407-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98407-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

IL-13RA2, also named as IL-13R and CD213a2, belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. It binds as a monomer with high affinity to interleukin-13 (IL13), but not to interleukin-4 (IL4). IL-13RA2 lacks the cytoplasmic domain for signaling, indicating that it acts as a decoy receptor. IL-13RA2 gene polymorphisms have been associated with systemic sclerosis (PMID: 16981293). Overexpression of IL-13RA2 gene has been reported in several types of cancer, including melanoma, lung cancer, and brain tumor, which makes it a potential immunotherapeutic target (PMID: 19895199; 24970476; 24021875).
