  FC experiment of Transfected HEK-293T using 98388-1-RR (same clone as 98388-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 HEK-293T cells(left) and Il28a-transfected HEK-293T cells(right) were stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse IL-28A Rabbit RecAb (98388-1-RR, Clone:242247E2) and APC-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98388-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

IL28A, also named as IFNL2 and ZCYT020, is a cytokine with immunomodulatory activity. It up-regulates MHC class I antigen expression. IL28A is a ligand for the heterodimeric class II cytokine receptor composed of IL10RB and IFNLR1. The ligand/receptor complex seems to signal through the Jak-STAT pathway. It plays a significant role in the antiviral immune defense in the intestinal epithelium.
